What is a Spresso Pricing Agent?
A Spresso Pricing Agent is an AI-driven tool designed to optimize your product prices based on your specific goals. Unlike traditional A/B tests and static pricing tools, Spresso's Pricing Agent continuously learns and gets smarter over time to maximize your outcomes.
Key Features:
- AI-Driven Optimization: An always on agent that is always optimizing to meet your objectives.
- Product Family-Level Customization: Agents are set up at the product family level, allowing for targeted strategies and consistent pricing.
Creating a Pricing Agent
1. Define Product Families
Spresso agents are configured on a product family level. Product families are products or variants that are grouped together at a pricing level. This ensures that your customers will see the same price arm across an entire product family.
Examples of Product Families
- Different sizes of the same t-shirt
- Different color ways of the same product
By default, product families are grouped at a Shopify/BigCommerce product level for variant skus that share the same price. You can confirm if groupings are set up as you'd
To configure different product families, you can define the groupings by using tags
on the product level. Tags must be defined following the structure of: Spresso_
, for example Spresso_EssentialHoodie
Before creating an agent, ensure that your product families are defined properly.
2. Search for Products
After downloading the Spresso app, you will see your complete catalog data automatically synced into the Spresso system. You can easily search for products by Name or Variant SKU in the search bar.
You will see results grouped by Spresso Product Families. Agents can only be created on the Product Family level.
